That's why, alongside fabric, clothing and equipment manufacturers, the exhibition "Intertextil Balticum 2012" from 13 to 15 April at Ķīpsala will feature craft masters with wonderful works in all kinds of craft techniques, artisans of various trades, costume and fashion accessory designers, and wholesale suppliers of materials. This year the exhibition will showcase a wide variety of masterworks: knitwear, textile mosaics, embroidery, leather goods, jewellery in various techniques, diverse fashion accessories, exclusive clothing details, bags, wallets, hats, various keepsakes and much more. All these beautiful things in one place will create a true fashion accessories and crafts paradise at Ķīpsala.

Accessory Variety
"Ginger-jewelry" will invite every exhibition visitor to highlight their individuality and purchase designer-made jewellery, as well as step into the role of designer and, in collaboration with "Ginger-jewelry" consultants, create their own jewellery set. Meanwhile "Anvesa" will offer exclusive costume jewellery: earrings, rings, necklaces, tiaras, bracelets, brooches, hair clips, headbands and more.
A new leather accessories brand on the Latvian market, "Ērikas jostas", will offer original women's, men's and children's belts, bracelets, corsets, bags and other accessories in contemporary and unique designs made from genuine leather.
"Happy Hats" will present their new spring-summer hat collection to all interested visitors, with discounts of up to 30%. Designer Dace Grīnvalde will offer "TIP TAP" brand felt slippers, decorative rugs and wall decorations that will fit any modern home.
Their artworks will also be presented by textile mini-factory "Punktiņu rotaļa", the creative collective "Art-City", "Geleos", "Oruz", "Arto-1", "Liva Silk", "Bang Bang Shop", "Little Lady", artists Līga Upīte, Ksenija Miļča, Ieva Bambale, Inita Jaunsauska, Marika Bušmane and others.
Find Your Favourite Craft in the Creative Workshops
Those still looking for their ideal craft can already register to take part in the Creative Workshops, where throughout all three exhibition days they can discover and learn the basics of craft techniques such as rug-making, flower-making, canvas embroidery, felting, beading, silk and glass painting and more.
"Coats Latvija" will invite interested visitors to their masterclass to learn machine embroidery using the "Bobin Work" technique, fan-shaped "Patchwork" knitting, Irish lace crochet technique, "Patchwork" sewing technique and more. The first 10 participants to sign up for the masterclass will also receive materials.
Studio "Leluja" will also invite exhibition visitors in a creative atmosphere to explore silk painting, decorative flower-making from fabric, bead weaving, embroidery and even candy bouquet-making!
Student Textile Mosaic Show
Exhibition visitors will be delighted by a showcase of the best works from the children's and youth textile mosaic competition "Flowers". Visitors will be able to vote for their favourite. The aim of the competition is to promote textile mosaic crafts among school-age young people and to give children and youth the opportunity for creative and individual expression in this popular textile mosaic technique.
Style Masterclass
"Intertextil Balticum 2012" will host a Style Masterclass, where transformation and change coach-psychologist, beauty expert and practitioner in personal visual image creation - Agrita Grosbarte - will invite exhibition visitors in a free and relaxed atmosphere to take part in discussions about style and also provide individual style consultations.
