Software Developers' Conference Riga Dev Day 2015 Coming to Riga Next Week

On Thursday, 22 January in Riga, at "Multikino" premises on Mūkusalas iela 71 from 08:30 to 18:00, the first Baltic-scale software developers' conference Riga Dev Day 2015 will take place, bringing together an internationally recognised team of speakers from the USA, Russia, EU and Baltic states.

Dmitrijs Buzdins, representative of the Riga Dev Day 2015 organisers: "This is a significant event for Baltic IT industry professionals, as for the first time in Riga a practical conference of this scale is being organised on the fastest-growing software development segments and their future development models. The Riga Dev Day 2015 programme is divided into five parallel sessions, whose content will be relevant to a broad spectrum of software developers - from developers and maintainers of financial institution IT systems and databases, to mobile device application and game programmers."

Riga Dev Day 2015 will be opened by Ted Neward (Neward&Associates) from the USA with a lecture "Iconoclasm" about visionaries in the programming industry and the full use of their potential; the conference programme also includes T. Neward's practical lecture "The Busy Javascript Developer's Guide to MEAN".

28 internationally recognised speakers will deliver practical talks at the conference, including such experts as Oracle representative Henrik Ståhl (Sweden), Red Hat leader Arun Gupta (USA), Oracle developer and well-known blogger Tim Hall (UK), front-end software developer and blogger Krasimir Tsonev (Bulgaria), Odnoklassniki.ru representative Oleg Anastasyev (Latvia) and others.
