1. Niceplace Mansards planner with and about cats

Four colour cover versions - light grey, dark grey, red and orange. 15 cat photographs and 12 Latvian folk sayings and beliefs about cats. One week per spread, in Latvian and English. A page for extra notes in the middle of each month and between months.

2. Puuka Divi tūkstoši 17

A debut this year - classic, elegant, black with gold details, restrained, with eye-pleasing fonts, in a non-standard square format. The planners are available at Valda Ošiņa stationery shop and at RIIJA shop. Price - €23

3. Manilla planner

In previous years the Manilla design paper shop mainly stocked planners from popular foreign brands - Leuchtturm and Moleskine - but this year they will have their own created and published planner. More details to follow.

4. EKO Quadro slim black planner

In the traditional Balta Eko calendar publisher's range you'll find a slim, black, ascetic, pleasant planner. Nothing superfluous - only the necessary information and sections, in Latvian, with Latvian public holidays (I felt the lack of these this year when using a Moleskine planner). Plenty of space for additional text alongside the specific week's schedule. Price at Valters&Rapa - €6.79.

5. Cimpa Rimpa planner in wooden covers

If the weight and rigidity of a planner don't put you off, but the scent of wood and eco-thinking appeal to you, you can choose a planner with wooden covers. Each book is handmade and therefore unique, as the wood grain is unrepeatable. Planner dimensions 14×20cm. When ordering, you can choose the colour of the decorative band. Price - €17

6. Personalised MYPRINT planner

A nice planner whose inner page spreads are designed to allow you to fill them according to your own ideas and wishes. The planner also contains small, pleasant surprises - cards, stickers, colourful pages. Price - €19.90

7. Mākoņoga planner - Limited edition

The planner is designed so that each person can be their own planner's designer - the inner pages are secured with metal rings and can be removed and new ones added, creating it according to your own feelings and taste. The planner is usable from both sides: it has two covers, one side intended for daily tasks, goal lists and assignments, the other designed as each user's own sketchbook/project book. Inside there are several pockets for storing stickers, receipts or other small items, there is also a pen holder - and that's not all, but more on the rest a little later!

Available in a women's version (yellow) and a men's version (dark blue). The idea is the same, but the content is tailored to each. 10. Piparmētra planner - Being Latvian 2017

The planner consists of 192 pages - the weekly layout on one page, the other for notes. There are also several dotted spreads for your thoughts. 12 different Latvian stories and Latvian illustrations. An inspirational quote from Latvian authors every week.

12 Latvian months in PANTONE photography, 4 seasonal recipes, interesting facts about Latvia, 12 transparent quote pages that can be cut out and put on the wall, a back pocket for all important small notes, temporary Latvian-design tattoos and a few more inspiring surprises.

11. Smaržeklis planner - Letiņš 2017

The planner was created drawing inspiration from feelings about our Latvia, home, family, our colourful seasons, beautiful holidays and unique traditions.
Planner layout - one week on the left side of the spread, the right side for notes. Format - A5, hard binding with a gold or black spiral.

The planner includes 12 sensitive artistic illustrations on each weekly spread, designed so you can "clear your head" by colouring and adding to them. At the start and end of the planner there is space for special reminders, plans and ideas, practical tips, suggestions and reminders.

The planner also includes many Latvian festivals and events, a colourful reminder sticker page - reminders for car technical inspection, parties, birthdays - a bookmark.
