A Christmas Gift Idea: Natural Décor

Christmas is fast approaching. It's time to start thinking about gifts for family, close ones, colleagues, friends. I always enjoy making something by hand, so this time I'll show how to make a fragrant decoration from natural ingredients - fairly simply.

Christmas is fast approaching. It's time to start thinking about gifts for family, close ones, colleagues, friends. I always enjoy making something by hand, so this time I'll show how to make a fragrant decoration from natural ingredients - fairly simply.

To make it you will need:
• various citrus fruits: orange, lemon, lime;
• green raffia;
• spices: cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice, bay leaves;
• brightly red-painted wooden beads.

Making it.

Slice the citrus fruits thinly. Arrange on racks lined with baking paper and leave to dry in the oven for approximately 6 hours at 60–80 degrees.

Form a loop, then thread elements onto the raffia in the following order: cinnamon stick, dried orange slice, bay leaf, dried lemon slice, dried lime slice, finish with a cinnamon stick or separately threaded allspice berries or a wooden bead. Cloves can also be pushed into the orange slice.

The garlands can vary in length and arrangement. This is where imagination can roam freely. Before gifting, add a few allspice berries to the bag, then place the hanging decoration inside.
