Top Planners for 2018

Traditionally, for the third year running I'm rounding up the most desirable planners for the coming year. Both so that I myself have something very visually pleasing and practical in my hands all year long, and so that you too have ideas for where to find your one and only trusted keeper of thoughts, ideas and plans for the whole of next year.

The order in this list doesn't matter. What matters is that the planner is ready for the user by November already - because work is already being scheduled for the start of next year - and that it has caught my attention.

1. Dream Light planner

A motivational and dream planner for the coming year published by Lelde Kovaļova. Judging by the juicy pink look, aimed at ladies specifically. The set includes a bright pink planner and a black branded gift box inscribed: "YOU ARE AMAZING!"

Price: €16 + €3 delivery by Omniva or post.

4. Manilla planner

"Pause for a moment!" is the motto of Manilla's 2018 A5 format planner, available with 6 different cover options. Our lives and memories are made of moments. Manilla invites you to savour, plan and collect the most beautiful moments of your life.

Four hardcovers depict the four Latvian seasons - each with its own mood and essence: GROW, BLOSSOM, BELIEVE and ACHIEVE - while the soft-cover planners are called FEEL and COLOUR. The page count has been reduced, making this planner even lighter, slimmer and more convenient to use. Inside, Latvia's centenary event dates are included, as well as international holidays and days such as Tea Day, Handwriting Day, and similar - with the aim of reminding us that every day of life is filled with some event or feeling.

The planner is complemented by calligraphic elements by Kaiva Narbute; cover design created from the brushstrokes of Elīna Deksne and Linda Lukstiņa.

Price: €19.95
