The Edible "Penguin March"
While browsing the internet I came across original, visually appealing, and judging by the ingredients, quite tasty snacks. Yes, yes, these little penguins, neatly lined up one after another in the image below, are edible.

It turns out one can speak of wine and cheese as a couple that can form an ideal relationship or, conversely, be utterly incompatible. Of people one says "like finds like" or "opposites attract" - in the same way wine and cheese can be spoken of as a couple with much in common, from the fermentation and ageing process to storage and serving. Though between them there are two fundamental differences - mould and salt, which characterise a good cheese but are completely unacceptable in wine.
Although the event took place at the end of last year, I decided to write about this lovely Madeira wine tasting evening, as the pleasant aftertaste has lingered right through to today. Shortly after the Midsummer holiday, so that the stomach would not forget how it had been pampered, a friend invited me over for a cocktail evening. The centre of attention was the strawberry daiquiri. The day weather-wise was not very lucky - overcast and even drizzling a fine rain. So we sipped the cold daiquiri and mused that there would be nothing better on a properly hot summer evening. Well, the hot days and evenings are here. Let's mix a strawberry daiquiri!
I offer you to whip up a cocktail in the style of James Bond. Yes, yes, in the style of the famous secret agent 007 described in Ian Lancaster Fleming's novel - envied by men and desired by women.
