The Style of the Sexy Italian Housewife
Nothing new, but I like it. The Dolce & Gabbana fashion house's spring 2010 collection, whose concept is rooted in stereotypical notions of the Italian homemaker. Traditional black satin and lace, various crochet work, a vintage rose print... Reminiscent of Italian films with Monica Bellucci's heroines.
Nothing new, but I like it. The Dolce & Gabbana fashion house's spring 2010 collection, whose concept is rooted in stereotypical notions of the Italian homemaker. Traditional black satin and lace; various crochet work; a vintage interior with the obligatory tarnished metal bed frames; an antique little crucifix passed down from generation to generation; a bold, lush rose print on a vivid red or glossy black background; a garter strap; black retro sunglasses; short black stockings in shoes on high pointed heels.

Unfailing sex appeal always and everywhere - washing dishes in the kitchen, packing suitcases, taking in the dried laundry, getting ready to go out, crying alone in the bedroom. Reminiscent of Italian films with Monica Bellucci's heroines. It is worth adding that the face of the collection this time is Madonna - the sinfully blonde paired with the black steeped in tradition and classicism.
