The Curriculum Vitae of Rammstein's Members

For all fans of the band Rammstein and industrial metal, 4 March of this year is a big day, when their idols will take to the stage right here in Riga with their far-famed pyrotechnics, scandalous stage image, and no less provocative song lyrics. Six men in their prime will do everything to leave the audience with an unforgettable aftertaste and a powerful emotional and quite extraordinary experience. Here I have compiled improvised CVs for each of the Rammstein members, offering a glimpse behind the commercially successful rough stage persona.

Six men in their prime (the youngest 38, the most seasoned 47) will do everything to ensure the audience leaves with an unforgettable aftertaste and a powerful emotional and quite extraordinary experience.

Here I have compiled improvised CVs for each of the Rammstein members, offering a glimpse behind the commercially successful rough stage persona.

Name: Till Lindemann
Date of birth: 4 January 1963 (47 years old, Capricorn)
Place of birth: Leipzig, Germany
Parents: divorced - father Werner Lindemann is a well-known writer and poet (has published 34 books), mother Brigitte "Gitta" Hildegard Lindemann is a writer and journalist. A sister 6 years younger than Till.
Height: 190 cm, weight approximately 105 kg, eyes - blue, hair - dark brown.
Marital status: divorced; 2 daughters: Nele - born 1985, and Marie Louise - born 1989.
Education: 1977–1980 - sports school (swimming), secondary vocational education (carpenter).
Work experience: basket weaver, carpenter, pyrotechnician, poet (in 2002 his poetry collection "Messer" ("Knife") was published).
Musical experience: "First Arsch" (drummer), "Rammstein" (vocalist, lyricist).
Hobbies: swimming.

Name: Richard Zven Kruspe
(In 1999, following his marriage to American actress Caron Bernstein, he used the double surname Kruspe-Bernstein for a time; after the divorce he dropped the second surname.)
Date of birth: 24 June 1967 (42 years old, Cancer).
Place of birth: Wittenberg, Germany.
Parents: stepfather and mother, two sisters and a brother.
Height: 180 cm, weight 88 kg, eyes - blue, hair - light brown.
Marital status: divorced; daughter Khira Li Lindemann - born 28 February 1991 (surname retained from her mother, who was married to Till Lindemann at the time).
Education: qualified chef, musical education.
Work experience: worked at a glass container collection point.
Musical experience: "Orgasm Death Gimmick", "First Arsch", "Das Elegante Chaos", "Das Auge Gottes", "Die Firma", "Rammstein" (founding member and guitarist).

Parents: both parents; only child in the family.

Date of birth: 11 May 1966 (43 years old, Taurus).
Place of birth: Berlin, Germany.
Parents: grew up without a father; mother; large family: 1 older brother and 5 sisters.

Height: 193 cm, weight approximately 84 kg, eyes blue, hair - brown.
Work experience: worked for a telephone company installing lines.

(Real first name: Heiko Paul, real surname: Hiersche - at age 20 Paul swapped his first and second names around, so his full name was no longer Heiko Paul Hiersche but Paul Heiko Hiersche. Later he dropped his second name, and after marrying Nicky Landers (1984) he took his wife's surname.)
Date of birth: 9 December 1964 (45 years old, Sagittarius).
Place of birth: Berlin, Germany.
Parents: father a professor of Slavic languages, mother a Russian language teacher; a sister 3 years older.
Marital status: divorced; 2 children: son Emil and a daughter.

Education: musical education (piano), vocational training as a locksmith, as well as higher medical education.
