Platform shoes, fishnet stockings, colourful scarves around the neck, round sunglasses in plastic frames are back. Trousers - long, short, mid-length, wide. Nautical motif - horizontal stripes, fabric patterns with sails, anchors, life rings, sailor's knots.

Here too the emphasis is on trousers, trouser suits, or flowing maxi dresses. The colour palette is slightly more subdued, but a strong blue also dominates - often paired with a vivid red or blue-green teal. The pastel tones so beloved by Latvians are completely off-trend.
In jewellery: gold and opaque stones. Chunky leather bags in brown, red, and blue-green teal. Shoes must have a platform sole.
