Poem #1

A poem that needs no title. Photo: Boļševička, 13 September 2014

How one would wish to live
Like in glossy magazines.
Sunflowers are not in fashion.
And at your age now!

You can be a cactus,
So tough and prickly,
Because you don't believe in fairy tales
And don't hide in corners.

How one would wish to lay the rush
Under a stone,
That same one that, back then,
I met long ago on the road.

Things have no value anymore,
They don't stay in the memory.
The mind repeats, repeats
Moments and You.
