Saturday was very warm, so we thought that we could go to look on Old Riga not getting through tourist crowds, but from canal of Riga and waters of Daugava. Before it, we looked through canal wooden boat place kmk.lv with map and getting in in Bastejkalns.
In the begging we wanted to get on the legendary 1907 made and from ABBA bought boat „Darling”, but not much worse was light wooden boat „Maria” (there are four boats). Ticket or boarding map for one person is Ls6. Boats cruises in the can every day from 9:00 till 23:00 from the first May till the end of October, and stops in getting in place with 20 minutes interval.

We went a circle: Bastejkalns, Stockmann, Radisson, gyps factory, port looks, Andrejosta, Kronvalda Park, Bastejkalns. We saw bas station and central market amazing concrete palings, on which stands buildings and under them lives ducks (local Venice). Went by sand sculptures. Saw practically from all sides Tallink float, which was in the Rigas port.
