From time to time, contentious topics appear on social media, about which clever and less clever minds, scientists and practitioners try to prove they are right. Various statements are quoted, links to studies are copied, etc. Some enthusiastically prove that it is so, others - that it is not so, and not because it is somehow otherwise, but simply is not so and cannot be.
Although at the time of writing the Kučinskis government had only been in office 57 days and it is still too early to evaluate the government's work, certain outlines of the ministers' activities are beginning to emerge, and it is unlikely that, as it approaches the 100-day mark, the government's profile will change substantially.

The shadow economy is perceived in society as a normal phenomenon. This is particularly pronounced in countries where the quality of state institutions and the services they provide is low, and consequently the level of trust in state power is also low.
