Fashion Trends Spring/Summer 2011 from D&G
The lace that is so characteristic of D&G - but this time not the fatally black and freely falling kind, rather the airily white and vintage white. Floral prints, because the more flowery the better. And something from the flower-power era as well.
Why D&G (Dolce & Gabbana) specifically - given that every self-respecting fashion house has its own perspective on the development of fashion? The choice is very subjective: I like everything from them, from the clothing to the accessories and fragrances, and their proposed trends have never disappointed. Fashion that is also suitable for everyday wear, yet lifts one above the everyday and allows one to dream.
Lace, so characteristic of D&G - but this time not the fatally black and freely falling kind, rather the airily white, vintage white, crisp kind, with whitework embroidery.

Floral prints - the more flowery the better: a summery blooming meadow, a garden filled with nuances of different colours and scents. Maxi floral dresses that do not restrict movement. Moreover, florals dominate not only in clothing - dresses, skirts, and blouses - but in accessories as well.

The triumphant march of platform shoes. Woven straw imitation combined with vivid colours and, of course, florals.

Making a comeback in fashion is something from the flower-power era - mini bell-shaped skirt silhouettes, patterned and plaid blouses and jumpsuits, fabrics close in feel to natural calico - kitschy and crumpled - and large tote bags.
