A Gingerbread Rabbit Garland
Today, on the last day of the year, I baked gingerbread in rabbit and apple shapes. But the result was so many rabbits (they are known to multiply rather well :) ) that a bright idea came to me: make a gingerbread garland - a decoration for the kitchen window. As a result, the sweetly spiced gingerbread scent that has now filled the whole apartment will linger with us a little longer.

Here is the making process in brief:
1) pierce a small hole in each baked rabbit gingerbread with an awl;
2) thread a thin colourful ribbon through, tying a securing knot first so the gingerbreads don't slide along the garland;
3) to make the garland more colourful, tie a small bow in a different colour at each rabbit;
4) tie loops at the ends of the garland and hang it in the window.
