New Year's Game: Tell a Story!
While looking for ideas for a New Year's Eve celebration in a small circle of friends at our place, I came across a game that works brilliantly for sparking lively conversations. It also serves as a glimpse into personally significant events of the year - which we must now call the past year. The game also helps develop the storyteller in you.
The game is intended for adults, but with some effort you can also make a children's version yourselves.
I adapted the game into Latvian, leaving some things out and adding others. I prepared 13 cards, but again, you can of course make more, depending on the expected number of participants. The game never gets old - it can be played anew at the end of every year.
