Wedding Greeting Verses

I continue to add to my verse notebook - this time I will compile greetings for the wedding day and wedding anniversaries. It has always seemed to me that wedding greeting cards in particular are special - so white, delicate and refined. With a certain reverence I have always picked up a fine black pen and chosen it carefully, so that the writing might look as elegant and graceful as possible. A preference not for standardised, printed-in-a-typography cards, but for handmade ones with fine lace insets, little ribbons, paper roses in soft pink or champagne colour. Precisely such cards one wishes to carefully preserve all one's life in some little chest. Of course, the content is no less important. I believe that good words possess a strong positive energy. If anyone has another lovely, heartfelt verse in their trousseau, please feel welcome to add it!
