Homemade Vintage Labels
This time we are making labels - decorative cards with an aged effect. An interesting accent for gifts, and also practically useful on jam jars, spice containers or tea caddies.

You will need:
• fairly thick white or coloured paper (this time I chose soft pink);
• coffee grounds;
• scissors;
• applicators;
• silicone stamps "Viva Decor" (LVL 2.22 at the Hobby Style craft shop);
• stamp ink Paper-Soft-Color "Viva Decor" (LVL 3.45 at the Hobby Style craft shop);
• coloured thin ribbons or linen thread;
• rubber gloves.
Making steps.
Step 1.
Cut out labels and cards in your desired shape, then age them using coffee or coffee grounds. Apply coffee with an applicator moistened in warm water. The more unevenly the coffee stains form, the more authentic the aged look will appear. Dry and flatten - for example, leave them under an improvised book press for a day so they settle.
Step 2.
Using an applicator, coat the silicone stamps with ink, then press the stamp onto the label or card. Leave to dry.

Step 3.
Cut with small scissors or punch a hole at one end of the card. Thread a coloured ribbon, linen thread or cord through it. The labels are ready to use!
